Well I just cannot simply believe it is already October – how did September fly by so quickly! Well let’s reflect back on the beautiful weddings we got to shoot this past summer. This summer was such a hit and miss with weather, but Jennifer & Mike got blessed with a gorgeous day! We started out the day by meeting up with them at their venue – the Edgewater Hotel to shoot some getting ready photos and isn’t both Jennifer dress and shoe shot beautiful? It was then onto a very emotional first look between the two of them, can’t you just feel the love they have for each other? We then moved onto the always fun Pike Place Market and there was a guy their doing a mural for his girlfriend and of course we had to take advantage of that and have the couple pose with him . .and by the way do you notice the gum says their names – yes that is Bryan’s photoshop magic!
We then met up with their wedding party at the Olympic Sculpture Park which was very close by and again had to enlist the help of an adorable puppy for another photo op. Their ceremony took place in the beautiful dining room with floor to ceiling windows. I love the fact that Jennifer & Mike had a few dance moves in them for their recessional. They had adorable bird cake toppers and all of their tables were named after places in Hawaii and their favor was macadamia nut filled hershey kisses. So you wonder .. why the Hawaii theme, well Jennifer & Mike met at a mutual friends wedding here in Seattle and their first date was in Hawaii (WOW!!!) and of course since that had been a special place for them, they wanted to incorporate it into their wedding and I can’t blame them. Before we left, we had to take advantage of the gorgeous sunset and walked very quickly to get some beautiful shots. Enjoy!
