Well we planned on blogging this last Sunday, but a little something named beautiful Lulu Pearl got in the way of that! Yes Zoe is a big sister and we have another beautiful baby girl. We will be blogging that soon, but until then I am so excited to share with you the beautiful photos of Courtney & Mike who got married at one of my favorite venues in Seattle – SODO Park. It is such a gorgeous space! We blogged their beautiful engagement earlier this year and you can see those photos here. We started out the day by capturing some last minute getting ready shots of Courtney getting ready at the Silver Cloud Inn near Safeco Field. Didn’t we get creative and fun with her shoe and dress shot up on the pool deck – love those. We also did the first look there and then had to grab a few photos of Mike & Courtney there as well. It was then off on an adventure to find a lighthouse that Courtney had found and wanted to shoot at. The weather was kind of iffy and beyond that it’s hard to find a close up spot for parking that doesn’t require much walking, but we managed to find it! And don’t you just LOVE the first photo below it’s my favorite of the day – wow! However, I also love the photo of Courtney & Mike walking out towards the lighthouse and sitting in the grass – so pretty. It was then back to SODO park to do some fun group/bridesmaids and groomsmen shots before the wedding. As you can see, Mike is military and he had several of his classmates from Westpoint fly in from New York to attend the wedding. I love the military dress and it added such a beautiful feel to their ceremony. Especially the sword presentation at the end of the ceremony as they were doing the recessional. As you can see Mike had to add a bit of his coolness to the cake cutting by using a big sword to cut the cake – how cool is that.
