Sarah & Jeff’s Family Shoot at Pacific Beach at Seabrook and Matt’s Senior Photos

Well on a rare sunny and gorgeous day in the winter, we photographed Sarah & Jeff and her family and her nephew Matt’s senior photos.  I had never heard of the Seabrook community on Pacific Beach above Ocean Shores until Sarah emailed me the link to the house they would be staying at.  What an adorable community and I was so happy she introduced us to it!  They had amazing weather for the family weekend there which you never know what you’ll get this time of year.  Sarah & Jeff are long time clients that we adore.  We photographed their wedding a few years back, got to see them again last year when we photographed Tracy & Jeff’s wedding in San Francisco and were so happy to see them again for family photos.  I love the photo of them below and the one of them kissing with the gorgeous sun flare.  We also got to do a lot of fun family setups and individual portraits which is always fun.  It was then onto photographing Matt’s senior photos.  As you can see Matt can balance well and we were able to get some cool shots.  Love the simple one of him in waders in the water and the moody one of him as dusk hit near the tree.

Enjoy!

Golden Gardens Bathhouse Wedding and Post Shoot with Amie & Mike

Well the adorable Amie & Mike got married on a gorgeous sunny day at Golden Gardens Bathhouse in Seattle. We started out the day by connecting with them at the Hyatt Olive 8 for getting ready shots. I adore Amie’s teal blue shoes and the beautiful sea colors she picked for their wedding near the water. We then moved onto some fun couple and group portraits nearby. I love all the fun graffiti walls we hit and how can you not love the one of their entire wedding party rocking out in front of the Paramount Theater. It was then onto Golden Gardens to get ready for their ceremony. It was so windy right before the ceremony, but that made for some very pretty ceremony shots with the altar’s draping blowing in the wind. I love the emotion in Amie’s eye has she walked the long aisle down to Mike. Mike’s father was too ill to attend the wedding, but you’ll notice further down in the post, he was able to both view it from an IPAD during the ceremony and we took a fun portrait with him from the hospital on the IPAD as well. When we had the opportunity later to do a post shoot with them, that’s when we got some nice portraits with Mike’s dad which was such a great opportunity! As you can see from the photos, they had fun at their reception. They had guests there from as far away as India and Australia and well they wanted to show them a good time! At the end of the evening we stepped outside for some sunset portraits and I LOVE the one of Mike kissing Amie’s neck and of him dipping her against the beautiful sunset and water. The month after their wedding, we reconnected again to do a fun post shoot. I love post shoots in that you can do so many more things you can never do on a wedding day. Including some fun shots with their dogs, Mike’s dad who couldn’t attend the wedding, photos with a vintage car and then of course how can you not love all the ones at EMP and of course them getting in the water – wow! What a fantastic day. Right below this is a more in depth slideshow from wedding and post shoot.

Enjoy:)

Crystal & Erin’s Wedding at Within Sodo in Seattle

Well I am so happy right before we ring in the new year to share with you a gorgeous wedding we photographed earlier this year at a brand new venue in the Sodo area (which we love) called Within Sodo with the simply adorable Erin & Crystal. As you can see from the photos below, Erin is in the military and well Erin and Crystal have had a courtship where they have not always been able to be together. That being said, I think they had one of the most meaningful and sweet ceremonies I have ever witnessed. I loved that their officiant Frank Harlan asked them to both recount what their favorite memory was together and he would tell them during their ceremony and they both had the exact memory which was when Erin surprised Crystal with swimming with the dolphins which was a life long dream of hers – how sweet! We started out the day by photographing them both getting ready at the Hotel Max and then we headed to the venue to capture their intimate ceremony. Afterwards on the beautiful summer day we fit in a lot of gorgeous portraits. The ceremony and reception was planned by the great Jenny Harding of New Chapter Weddings. If you are planning a wedding check her out – she is fabulous.

Enjoy:)
